I am so happy to have found Hammock Universe, perhaps as much for the delightful missives they sent to confirm my order and update me on its progress as for the parts that I desperately needed.
My beachside hammock had been strung from wooden posts imbedded in the sand. It quite unceremoniously broke when the wood rotted out, leaving me sore of body and spirit. I searched high and low for a metal stand and finally found one in a segunda, a thrift store here in Mexico, only to discover when I got it home that it had no hardware. Even Amazon did not have replacements.
Hammock Universe to the rescue! I ordered "universal" parts at a quite reasonable price and waited with bated breath for their arrival. Shipment was prompt to my U.S. mail service. I did have to wait on pins and needles for my Mexican mail service to retrieve the package so I could find out if I could once again enjoy my Happy Place. To my glee the parts fit my stand perfectly. And even though I finally retired the woven hammock I got in Peru in 1972 and replaced it with a local hamaca, all's right with the world once again.

I ordered a standing hammock from a different website, one that I had been looking at for 2 years, and after much waiting, it finally arrived! I was so pumped so you can imagine my crushing disappointment when I opened it only to realize the hardware was missing. The company I contacted was not able to send me new parts or even give me details on the missing parts. I did some research and after 2 failed attempts at getting the parts myself, I came across this website responding to another customers needs on a YouTube tutorial! I clicked the link and sure enough, it led me straight to the replacement parts I needed! Ordered immediately, got hilarious emails letting me know the progress of my delivery, received the parts really fast, and Iām finally enjoying my hammock pretty much every day. Huge thanks to hammockuniverse for helping a girl out!

Hammock Universe ("Hammock Universe") warrants that for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Hammock Universe, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. Retailers selling Hammock Universe products do not have the right to alter, modify or in any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover discoloration of product, damage caused by mildew, mold or any external source. It does not cover normal wear of parts, or damage resulting from any of the following: rodents, pests or any animal, negligent use or misuse of the product, commercial use of the product, use contrary to the assembly instructions, repair or alteration by anyone unless the service was authorized by Hammock Universe. Further, the damage warranty does not cover acts of God, such as: fire, flood, wind, hurricanes, tornadoes, storms and any form of precipitation: (i.e. rain, snow, hail). Warranty void if damage to the product results from the use of a part other than a genuine Hammock Universe part.
Installing a hammock is usually not too complicated. However, the most common issue is deception. NOT with the product itself but the FIT!
We provide minimal dimensions for the specific product under the SPECS Tab.
Before purchasing a hammock or a stand, it is important to allow yourself 5 minutes to measure the space you have on your patio, between the trees or anywhere else.
Doing that with a measuring tape (and not using the good old eye guessing technique š) will allow to choose in accordance with the space you have and allowing for relaxation in no time when your order arrives!
